Cancun 旅遊 09/20/2011---照片 part 1

Day 4, 09/20/2011:

To recuperate our energy after a whole day’s outing at Xcaret, we chose to rest by the hotel swimming pool one day before we took on the second expedition to Chichen itza on the following day. In the morning we swam in the pool. By noon, the ocean waves seemed subsiding and the water became clear of seaweed. Some of us slowly inched our way into the water, testing our courage against the ocean wave’s sucking power. My biggest concern was more of a leg muscle cramp, which happens to me every now and then in bed during sleep, than the rip-tide.

So far all turned out so perfect: no rain, no storms, no crowd, no food poisoning issues, no safety problems, no tropical weather heat, and best of all, every one of us got along well and had a wonderful time.

In the afternoon, we visited downtown again to explore flea market 28. We overheard a Mexican lady telling a drink vendor that he just sold us coconuts at 25 pesos each for a 5 pesos worth. Well, even Việt Kẹo Kéo got ripped off too….haha…

For dinner, we found a nice place in the market and truly enjoyed our Mexican food, complimented with tequila drinks on the house. Before dark, we headed back to the hotel to continue swimming in the pool.
